Fellowship Time

After worship next Sunday, be sure to stop down in the fellowship hall for some great refreshments and for the opportunity to visit with your brothers and sisters in Christ!

Miles to Estes

Our Youth Group is selling miles to help fund their trip to the AALC Youth Convention in Estes Park, Colorado.  If you’d like to support the youth, you can sponsor a mile of their trip for only $3.00!  Be sure to stop by and see one of our youth in the entryway on your way out of church in the coming weeks!

Ladies’ Quilting Group

Our quilters are back in action this month and will be getting together on Tuesday, April 7 at 9:00am to work on making quilts to be sent to those who need them.  Regardless of your ability to sew, all are welcome to come and lend a hand to serve our neighbors all around the world.

AALC Regional Convention:

Our region of the American Association of Lutheran Churches, the Greater Heartland Region, will have its convention this year at Faith Lutheran Church in Holstein, Iowa.  The convention will begin the evening of Wednesday, April 22 and end after lunch on Friday, April 24.  Our church is invited to bring as many delegates as we would like.  It’s a great opportunity to see how our congregation is a part of something bigger, a part of a community of churches united in mission and purpose.  If you’re interested in attending, contact Pastor Mike for more information.

Church Council

Church Council: Our next Church Council meeting is coming up on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00pm in the church fellowship hall.

Pie Sales

A big thank you to all of our Sunday School students and youth who sold pies once more this year!  Together, you were able to sell 302 pies to help support our VBS program!  This year’s top sellers were Cassidy Pywell, Carson and Trenton Schartz, and Peyton Burd. Again, thank you to everyone who sold pies, you did a great job!

Midweek Bible Study

Our Midweek Bible Study is continuing to study the Gospel of Mark.  Mark may be the shortest of the four gospels, but it’s action-packed as it tells the story of how our Lord came to save us.  Even if you’ve never been to Bible study before you are more than welcome to come and give it a try.  Our next study will be Thursday, April 9 at 7:00pm at the parsonage.
